Academic Engagement
At AlphaX Invest we place great importance on a strong academic foundation. Our quantitative finance journey began in 2013 at the UK’s leading University of St Andrews, where we worked on foundational research on model portfolios. Since then, we have maintained an affiliation to the university and continue to align our strategies with the latest research insights. This allows us to leverage innovative approaches from economics, data analysis and financial modelling. Through close proximity to academia, we ensure our strategies continue to be based on current methods, providing our partners with empirically and structurally sound solutions.

Our experience spans years with leading global investment institutions such as Bank Vontobel and Leonteq Securities, as well as collaborations with family offices, external asset managers and banks across Switzerland and Singapore. To avoid emotion-based human bias, we rely on data-driven strategies grounded in rigorous research. Currently, we focus on equity investments, which have proven to be resilient and adaptable over the long term. Our goal is to achieve sustainable outperformance through quantitative methods, aiming at organically growing our clients' capital base.
